After wrapping the long Hyderabad schedule of Sikandar, actor Salman Khan resumed the shooting of the film in Mumbai.

As mentioned in the latest media report, AR Murugadoss, who is helming the action film, began the Mumbai leg of the shoot from Monday, and Salman joined the team on Wednesday for a massive train action sequence.

Considered one of the highlights of the film, the train scene was shot with 30 people at a Borivalli studio which was made to look like a railway station. The team of the film, alongside the superstar’s security team, is trying to shoot with as less people as possible. Therefore, the director made prior preparations to film the same scene with the crowd of around 350 people a day before, on Tuesday.

Mid-Day quoted a source close to the production confirming the news. The report quoted the source as saying, “The scale of this scene is massive. It involves raw, gritty action as Salman’s character is seen taking on a gang of baddies. The director’s brief to the action choreographer was to make it bloody and vengeful. Salman shot the set-piece on Wednesday evening with only a crowd of 30. On Tuesday, Murugadoss separately filmed the crowd-heavy sequences with approximately 350 people.”

The report further mentioned that Sikandar will be shot at various locations in Mumbai until the end of January. “The shoot will continue till January-end at different locations in the city,” the source added.

The film is slated to hit the screens as the big Eid release next year, and everything is being done to ensure it follows its release date without compromising on Salman’s security at the same time.

Meanwhile, the superstar is also gearing up for Da-bangg The Tour Reloaded in Dubai from December 7. After commencing its first performance at the Dubai Harbour, the group will move to perform at other middle-eastern cities, including Jeddah and Doha.
