On the 62nd anniversary of the Battle of Rezang La, Farhan Akhtar paid tribute with his first look poster from the film.

The movie pays homage to the 120 brave soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice during this pivotal chapter of the 1962 Indo-China war. It focuses on the extraordinary stand taken by the 13 Kumaon Regiment’s Charlie Company, led by Maj Shaitan Singh PVC.

Directed by Razneesh Ghai, 120 Bahadur brings to life the true story of these unsung heroes, highlighting the incredible spirit of Major Shaitan Singh and his men. The film aims to honour their memory and share their story with a new generation, reminding us of their sacrifice and the strength of their spirit.

Farhan shared a note on X along with the first-look poster that read, “It’s been 62 years since 1962. Today, we honor the unparalleled courage and sacrifice of the heroes of Rezang La. 120 Bahadur is our tribute to the valor and the indomitable spirit of Major Shaitan Singh and his brave men, who stood their ground against insurmountable odds. Their story echoes through time, reminding us of the price of freedom and the strength of unity, with a special salute to the Ahir community, whose sons displayed unmatched bravery in defending our nation (sic).”

On November 18, 1962, in the freezing heights of Ladakh, 120 soldiers of Charlie Company faced off against an invading force of over 3,000 Chinese troops. Despite being heavily outnumbered and battling cold, these soldiers fought till their last breath, holding their ground and protecting the nation’s border. Their bravery and resilience turned Rezang La into a symbol of sacrifice and heroism in Indian military history.
