Madhuri Dixit Feels Rasha Thadani Would Be Perfect For ‘Ek Do Teen’ Remake: ‘Her Dance Is Very Graceful’
At a recent event, Bollywood actress and dancing queen Madhuri Dixit was asked to share her thoughts on which younger generation actress.
She believes could do justice to her iconic song ‘Ek Do Teen’ if it were to be remade today. She instantly took Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha Thadani’s name, and praised her for her dance and elegance. Madhuri Dixit’s dance to ‘Ek Do Teen’ from the 1988 film ‘Tezaab’ remains memorable and iconic, even decades later.
Madhuri, known for her impeccable dancing skills and timeless performances, complimented Rasha Thadani, and said, “Among the youngest ones, I like Rasha Thadani. Her dance is very graceful.” Madhuri also shared that the song that currently makes her want to hit the dance floor is ‘Uyi Amma’, featuring Rasha Thadani from her debut film Azaad. Rasha’s energetic dance performance to Uyi Amma seems to have impressed Madhuri.
The music video of Uyi Amma from the film ‘Azaad’ was released in January, and soon after, netizens lauded Rasha’s mesmerizing dance moves in the song. She seamlessly balanced grace and power, while her charming expressions were on point in the song.
Rasha made her Bollywood debut with the epic action-adventure film ‘Azaad’, alongside Ajay Devgn’s nephew Aaman Devgan. She played the role of Janaki in the film. Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, Azaad features a stellar cast, including Ajay Devgn, Diana Penty, Mohit Malik, and Piyush Mishra. The film was theatrically released on 17th January, 2025.
