Arabic Kuthu, hit song from Vijay’s Beast, crosses 200 million views on YouTube
Thalapathy Vijay’s Beast, which was released in theatres on April 14, failed to live up to expectations at the box office.
It also received largely negative reviews, with critics criticising the middling screenplay. The film, however, garnered attention due to the Arabic Kuthu song. The Anirudh Ravichander-composed peppy track has now reached a major milestone. Beast is an action comedy, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar.
While Vijay’s Beast underperformed at the box office, Arabic Kuthu broke the internet with its catchy beats. The song has now crossed the 200 million views mark on YouTube. Sun Pictures wrote on Twitter that the video “hits the massive 200 million views”. The production house also posted a video to celebrate the special moment.
ABOUT BEAST
Beast is an action comedy that features Thalapathy Vijay in the role of a former RAW agent. His character tries to rescue people who are being held hostage in a shopping mall. It stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead and marks her first collaboration with mass hero. The cast includes Selvaraghavan, Shine Tom Chacko, and Yogi Babu, among others.
Arabic Kuthu is one of the biggest highlights of the film. The lyrics were written by actor Sivakarthikeyan. Anirudh Ravichander composed the catchy song. He also sang it with Jonita Gandhi. Beast is currently streaming on Netflix.

Thalapathy Vijay, meanwhile, is shooting for Varisu in Vizag/Visakhapatnam . The film is directed by Vamshi Paidipally. It stars Rashmika Mandana as the female lead. Vijay is also likely to collaborate with Lokesh Kanagaraj for Thalapathy 67 after wrapping up Varisu.
Nelson Dilipkumar, on the other hand, is set to collaborate with Superstar Rajinikanth for Jailer. The film, previously referred to as Thalaivar 169, has garnered attention with its powerful title. It is expected to go on floors either this month or sometime in September. Bollywood celebrity stylist Aalim Hakim is set to style Superstar in Jailer.
