Dream Girl 2 teaser out. Ayushmann Khurrana in backless lehenga flirts with Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan
When Dream Girl first released in 2019, it quickly became one of the most successful rom-com, and took the audience on a joy ride!
The Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer was a massive success at the box office and was one of the highest grossing blockbusters of that year. Ayushmann announced the film’s sequel, titled Dream Girl 2, last year. And ever since, we have been rooting for updates on the project.
The film, which stars Ananya Panday as the female lead, will release in the theatres on July 7. In the new teaser of Dream Girl 2, Ayushmann is seen back in his Pooja avatar as he flirts with Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan on the call.
DREAM GIRL 2 FUN TEASER
Taking to his Instagram handle on February 13, Ayushmann Khurrana shared the teaser of his upcoming film Dream Girl 2 and captioned it, “BREAKING NEWS: @pooja___dreamgirl is back! #7KoSaathMein dekhenge! #DreamGirl2 releasing in cinemas on 7th July, 2023 (sic).” In the teaser, the actor can be seen wearing a backless pink lehenga with beautiful jewellery and makeup on point. We don’t get to see his face, but we see a shot of his bright red lipstick. He is seen flirting with Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan on phone. Ayushmann will be playing the role of Karam as well as a girl named Pooja in Dream Girl 2.

ABOUT DREAM GIRL 2
Dream Girl 2 traces the journey of a small-town boy Karam (played by Ayushmann Khurrana) who is trying to live a serious life in Mathura. He falls in love with Pari (played by Ananya Panday) but life is hell-bent on not taking him seriously. In a turn of events, Karam becomes Pooja which creates further chaos in his already chaotic life. The film is directed by Raaj Shaandilya and produced by Ektaa R Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures. Besides Ayushmann, the film will also star Ananya Panday, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, Vijay Raaz, Annu Kapoor, Seema Pahwa, Manoj Joshi, Abhishek Banerjee and Manjot Singh.
