For the second consecutive day, both gold and silver rates edged lower in the Indian market.
Precious metals were trading on the lower side of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Thursday, March 9.
Gold futures, maturing on April 5, 2023, stood at Rs 54,882 per 10 grams, recording a marginal dip of Rs 124 or 0.23 per cent. The previous close was recorded at Rs 54,911.
Similarly, silver futures, due on May 5, 2023, witnessed a downfall of Rs 277 or 0.45 percent and were retailing at Rs 61,900 per kg on the MCX against the previous close of Rs 61,817.
