Donald Trump lashes out at Biden as jury probes porn star hush money case

Donald Trump lashed out at US President Joe Biden over the New York jury’s investigation into a hush money payment made by the Republican to an adult film star in 2016.

This comes a day after Trump said his arrest is imminent and called on his supporters to launch a massive protest. On Sunday, Trump accused the Biden administration of working hand-in-hand with District Attorney Alvin Bragg in the hush money case, The Independent reported.

“Biden wants to pretend he has nothing to do with the Manhattan DA’s assault on democracy when, in fact, he has stuffed the DA’s office with Department of Injustice people, including one top DOJ operative from DC who is actually running the “horseface” witch hunt,” Trump wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social.

The investigation is thought to be nearing the moment of a criminal indictment being handed down targeting Donald Trump and potentially others in his inner circle, the report said.

The 2016 payment to porn star Stormy Daniels has haunted Donald Trump politically for years. Besides the hush money inquiry in New York, Trump faces separate criminal investigations in Atlanta and Washington over his efforts to undo the results of the 2020 election.

The indictment of Trump, 76, would be an extraordinary development after years of investigations into his business, political and personal dealings.
