Gold prices in India rose on Friday now costing 10 grams of 22 carat gold ₹54,800 compared to ₹54,200 on Thursday, according to figures by Goodreturns.
Prices of one gram, eight grams and 100 grams of 22 carat gold have seen an increase of ₹60, ₹480, and ₹6,000 now costing at ₹5,480, ₹43,840 an ₹5,48,000 respectively.
The price of 24 carat gold also soared on Friday. One gram of 24-carat gold is priced at ₹5,978 while eight grams and 10 grams are priced at ₹47,827 and ₹59,780 respectively. The price of 100 grams of 24-carat gold is ₹5,97,800.
The prices of one gram, eight grams, 10 grams and 100 grams of 24-carat gold have increased by ₹65, ₹520, ₹650, and ₹6,500 respectively from Thursday, according to Goodreturns.
Meanwhile, silver prices in India also saw an increase on Friday. A gram of silver is now costing at ₹72.60 compared to ₹71.60 on Thursday. Similarly, price of eight grams of silver stood at ₹580.80, with an increase of ₹8. 10 grams of silver is available at ₹726 while one kg of silver will cost ₹72,600, with a jump of ₹1,000 from yesterday’ price, Goodreturns said.
