Pankaj Tripathi’s jibe in ‘Main Atal Hoon’ is perfect ‘Moye Moye’ moment

After the makers of the Pankaj Tripathi-starrer released the trailer of the upcoming film ‘Main Atal Hoon’, a scene from the movie has gone viral on social media.

The film, directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Ravi Jadhav, features Pankaj playing the role of the former Prime Minister, writer, and Bharat Ratna awardee Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Amid much anticipation for ‘Main Atal Hoon’ that will release in theatres on January 19, a video from the film has emerged online. The viral scene from the trailer showcases Pankaj as Vajpayee addressing the media in Pakistan when a journalist expresses her views on marrying him (Atal). However, in return, she asked him to compromise on Kashmir. Vajpayee gave a witty reply and asked for Pakistan in dowry. The scene is from Vajpayee’s historic visit to Lahore in 1999.

The viral video was given a funny twist when the song ‘Moye Moye’ was added towards the end.

‘Main Atal Hoon’ trailer was released on December 20. It takes us through the early days of Atal Bihari Vajpayee from his youth to his political career, his sheer dedication to bring a change and make India a great nation.

The film promises to take us through different stages of his life and introduce us to the man who the citizens of the nation may not know well.

Directed by award-winning director Ravi Jadhav, and written by Rishi Virmani and Ravi Jadhav, ‘Main Atal Hoon’ is produced by Vinod Bhanushali, Sandeep Singh, and Kamlesh Bhanushali. The film will hit the big screens on January 19, 2024.
