Massive fire breaks out in Taj Express train in Delhi, no casualties reported

A fire broke out in three coaches of Taj Express in Delhi’s Sarita Vihar on Monday. No injuries have been reported so far, said Delhi Fire service.

Railway DCP, KPS Malhotra, has confirmed that no injuries were reported in the fire accident.

He said, “A PCR call was received at 4.41 pm regarding a fire in a train. At the spot, it was noticed that there was a fire in three coaches of the Taj Express train. The train is stopped. No one is injured as the passengers have moved to the other coaches and deboarded. Further, action is being taken by the railways.”
