John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh’s ‘Vedaa’ will release in theatres on Independence Day, August 15.
Helmed by Nikkhil Advani, the film will clash with Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again’ and Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa: The Rule’.
John Abraham shared the announcement with a new poster of ‘Vedaa’. The caption read, “This Independence Day, woh aa rahe hainâ€æ Insaaf ki jung ladne! #Vedaa releasing in cinemas on 15th August (sic).”
The teaser of the film was released on March 19. In the adrenaline-fueled thriller, John Abraham takes on the role of the steadfast protagonist, pitted against Abhishek Banerjee’s compelling portrayal of an enigmatic antagonist.
Going by the teaser, ‘Vedaa’ has skyrocketed, leaving fans eagerly awaiting its release. Other than the names mentioned above, Tamannaah Bhatia will also be seen playing a special role in the forthcoming film.
Directed by Nikkhil Advani and written by Aseem Arora, ‘Vedaa’ is co-produced by Zee Studios, Emmay Entertainment and JA Entertainment. This will be the second time that John collaborates with Nikkhil after ‘Batla House’.
