David Beckham and wife Victoria invited to Anant-Radhika’s wedding reception
David Beckham and his wife Victoria Beckham have been extended an invitation to the grand wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.
The youngest son of Nita Ambani and billionaire Mukesh Ambani, Anant is set to get married to Radhika on July 12. It can be remembered that in 2023, Nita Ambani and Mukesh Ambani hosted the legendary former footballer at their home ‘Antilia’ in Mumbai during his three-day visit to India as part of his tour as UNICEF’s Goodwill Ambassador.
Their wedding, spanning over three days, features three events – ‘Shubh Vivaah’ followed by ‘Shubh Aashirwad’ on July 13 and ‘Mangal Utsav’ or the wedding reception on July 14. The other international celebrities include Lana Del Rey, Drake and Adele. Notably, many athletes, including the Indian cricketers and overseas players have taken part in the wedding festivities so far. The Ambanis also honoured the Indian players, including Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav during the sangeet ceremony for the T20 World Cup triumph. Many MI players and former India captain MS Dhoni, alongside Sakshi Dhoni, have also taken part in the celebrations.
David Beckham to return India
The Ambanis had organised a grand party for David Beckham at their home in Mumbai on November 16, 2023. The entire family posed with the football legend and was presented with a MI jersey with number seven written on it. He also attended the ODI World Cup 2023 semi-final between India and New Zealand at the Wankhede Stadium on November 15, Wednesday. David Beckham will return to India yet again to give his blessings to the couple on their big day.
Anant-Radhika’s grand wedding
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant hosted two pre-wedding parties ahead of their grand wedding. A lavish cruise party was hosted by the couple which commenced in Italy on May 29 and concluded in France on June 1. The cruise party was preceded by an elaborate pre-wedding gala in Jamnagar in March wherein 1,000 guests, including sportspersons, celebrities and industrialists, were invited for the festivities.
