‘Vedaa’ trailer: John Abraham is Krishna to Sharvari’s Arjun

The trailer of the film ‘Vedaa’, starring John Abraham and Sharvari, was unveiled today, August 1.

The film promises high-octane action. Produced by Zee Studios, Emmay Entertainment, and JA Entertainment, the film is directed by Nikkhil Advani. It set to hit cinemas on Independence Day.

‘Vedaa’ revolves around a young woman named Vedaa, played by Sharvari, who challenges the status quo. Supported by a former soldier, portrayed by John Abraham, who becomes her protector and ally, her quest for justice is bolstered by his support.

The Vedaa trailer begins with ‘Yada Yada Hi Dharmasya’ shloka followed by John saying, “Jab jab adharm badhega, tab tab main dharm ki raksha karunga (Every time evil increases, each time I will be the protector).” Hinting himself to be the Krishna to Vedaa’s (Sharvari) Arjun.

The trailer hints at thrilling action scenes and intense emotional moments, providing a preview of Vedaa’s world and the obstacles she encounters on her dangerous path to justice.

John Abraham, who is set to deliver another action-packed performance, shared, “I am excited to be part of a film like ‘Vedaa’. It’s a story that will resonate with audiences and inspire them to stand up for what is right.”

Vedaa is Nikkhil Advani’s 10th directorial feature film. “I feel very strongly about presenting a film that entertains but also delivers a message, provokes a thought that stays with its audience for a long time after the film ends. I hope Vedaa is that film.”

The film also features Abhishek Banerjee in a pivotal role, along with Tamannaah Bhatia in a special appearance. Directed by Nikkhil Advani and written by Aseem Arrora, ‘Vedaa’ is bankrolled by Zee Studios, Umesh Kr Bansal, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, John Abraham, and co-produced by Minnakshi Das.
