Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ films to re-release in theatres

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap on Tuesday, August 27 shared that his classic Gangs of Wasseypur films will be re-releasing in cinemas.

The crime-comedy features actors such as Manoj Bajpayee, Huma Qureshi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui among others in pivotal roles.

It will run in theatres from August 30 to September 5.

Anurag shared the news on his Instagram handle and wrote, “In three days the Gang will be back again, GOW back in cinemas (sic).”

The post also disclosed that the movie tickets would be available at the price of Rs 149.

As soon as the post was shared, excited fans flooded comment box with positive reactions. One user wrote, “Nostalgic.” Another commented, “Greatest Hindi movie ever.” Yet another person wrote, “Was waiting for this.”

Earlier, makers had shared that horror film Tumbbad and the romantic drama Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein would also be releasing in cinemas.

Meanwhile, Gangs of Wasseypur originally released in 2012.
