Abhishek Bachchan has been in the news lately for various reasons, including unverified rumours about his marriage with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and speculation over.
His absence at daughter Aaradhya Bachchan’s birthday party. While these personal matters have fuelled gossip, Abhishek has simultaneously earned accolades for his powerful performance in Shoojit Sircar’s ‘I Want To Talk’. In an interview with ETimes, Abhishek opened up about handling negativity surrounding his personal life, explaining how he stays grounded and true to himself amid challenges.
Reflecting on his approach to dealing with negativity, Abhishek shared, “Hindi mein ek shabd hai ‘dhridhta’. Somewhere, who you are as a person shouldn’t change. Your fundamentals shouldn’t change. You have to learn to adapt and evolve, or you will be left behind, but your fundamental values shouldn’t change. So, I still do believe that ‘jab bura apni buraai na chhode toh accha apni acchai kyun chhode?’ I cannot change the person I am. I am a very positive person, and you cannot concentrate on the negatives. When you concentrate on the negatives, it’s going to overwhelm you.”
The ‘I Want To Talk’ actor spoke about the importance of staying true to one’s identity and beliefs. He explained, “Also, as a man, who are you? What are you standing for? If I’m going to be a leaf in the wind, people will say he’s not a solid person. Hence, some things in me don’t change.”
Abhishek further spoke about his mantra for finding optimism during tough times. He said, “When you see a silver lining on the cloud, or a ray of sunshine, hold on to it. Because that will give you the impetus, inspiration, and reason to carry on in life. It’s very easy as people to get swallowed by darkness and negativity… no matter how tough the obstacle may be, find the ray of hope.”
While his personal life remains a subject of speculation, Abhishek is receiving immense praise for his performance in ‘I Want To Talk’.
