Aaftab Poonawala used multiple weapons to chop Shraddha Walkar’s body: Report

Shraddha Walkar’s murder accused Aaftab Amin Poonwala has told the Delhi police that multiple weapons were used to dismember her body.

In the last few days, the police have recovered five large knives which have been sent to the forensics team for investigation, news agency ANI reported citing the Delhi Police sources.

Poonawala allegedly strangled his live-in partner Shraddha (27) and sawed her body into 35 pieces, which he kept in a 300-litre fridge for almost three weeks at his residence in south Delhi’s Mehrauli before dumping those across the city over several days past midnight.

Walkar was allegedly killed in May.
