BSF launches search for Pakistani drone spotted near Rajatal border post in Amritsar

The Border Security Force (BSF) launched a search operation for a drone, which twice flew into Rajatal border post near Amritsar from Pakistan late Thursday night.

According to BSF officers, the drone flew back after BSF personnel opened fire.

This is the third time in three months that drones flew in from Pakistan.

In mid-August, the BSF opened fire after it spotted a drone near the Indo-Pakistan border in Punjab’s Attari area.

In July, security forces along the India-Pakistan border chased away a drone that came from across the border. The incident occurred along the Bamiyal border of Pathankot.
