Coldplay’s Chris Martin says ‘Jai Shri Ram’ during Mumbai concert

British band Coldplay not just enthralled the audience in Mumbai during the Music of Spheres concert.

In the city with their hits songs and Chris Martin’s greeting in Hindi, but also sent everyone into a tizzy by saying ‘Jai Shri Ram’. The singer and Coldplay frontman was reading placards that fans held up during the concert. One of the placards read ‘Jai Shri Ram’. Martin read it, receiving energetic cheer from the audience. He also asked what it meant. Not just that, he also read other placards and responded to it.

During the concert, Chris Martin wooed audience by greeting everyone in Hindi. The band also played their most popular tracks at the show, including Paradise, Viva La Vida, Adventure of a Lifetime and Yellow.

The venue also turned lively with fireworks and light show. All in all, it was pumped with energy and Chris Martin made sure to interact with fans present at the venue. Coldplay is scheduled to perform in Mumbai tomorrow and day after as well. The band will then perform in Ahmedabad. Their Ahmedabad concert, scheduled to take place on January 26, will be streamed live on Disney+ Hotstar.

Chris Martin landed in India with his girlfriend, actor Dakota Johnson. They were seen soaking in the vibe of Mumbai by visiting Bandra, and also seeking divine blessing at Shri Babulnath Temple.
