First song of Katrina Kaif, Vijay Sethupathi led ‘Merry Christmas’ is festive bliss

The title track of ‘Merry Christmas’, starring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi, was released on Christmas Day.

The song, sung by Ash King and composed by Pritam, was unveiled by Tips’ social media on Instagram. The film is all set to release on January 12, 2024.

Composed by Pritam, the title track for ‘Merry Christmas’ was unveiled on December 25. The track celebrates the spirit of Christmas. Ash King has lent his vocals for the song.

The song was first shared via Tips’ Instagram page, with the caption, “The perfect #MerryChristmas song is here. In Cinemas 12th Jan (sic).”

The trailer of the film, released a few days ago, hints at a non-traditional romance filled with suspense, seduction and surprise.

‘Merry Christmas’ is directed by Sriram Raghavan, known for his successful films like ‘Badlapur’ and ‘Andhadhun’. Starring Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles, the film is slated for a release on January 12, 2024.

The film has been shot in Hindi and Tamil, featuring different supporting actors in each version. The Hindi version includes Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand, while the Tamil version features Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams in identical roles.
