Fresh case against Chandrababu Naidu over ‘permission’ to illegal liquor firms

Andhra Pradesh’s Crime Investigation Department (CID) has recently registered another case against Chandrababu Naidu, the chief of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).

This fresh case is based on allegations of granting illegal permissions to liquor companies. Chandrababu Naidu has been included as accused number 3 in this case, which also falls under the Prevention of Corruption (PC) Act.

The CID formally filed a petition in the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) court, and the court has granted permission for this CID action.
