For the second day in a row, both gold and silver were trading on the higher side of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Tuesday, December 20.
Gold futures, maturing on February 3, 2023, were retailing at Rs 54,430, after witnessing a jump of Rs 122 or 0.22 per cent.
Meanwhile, silver futures, maturing on March 3, 2023, also recorded a hike of Rs 219 or 0.32 per cent and stood at Rs 67,776 per kg on the MCX.
Notably, the prices of gold and silver stood at Rs 54,260 per 10 grams and Rs 67,512 per kg respectively when the market closed on December 19.
