Hyderabad horror: Men barge into girl’s house, take turns to rape her at knifepoint

A 15-year-old girl was allegedly gangraped by three people after they barged into her house in Hyderabad’s Nandanavanam colony on Sunday morning.

The minor victim lodged a police complaint on Monday and she mentioned in it that the accused, allegedly intoxicated, forcefully entered the victim’s residence at around 9:30 am and threatened her and her brother at knifepoint.

According to a news report, the accused took the victim upstairs and took turns to rape her. They fled the spot when the girl cried for help.

They had pushed the brother out of the house and allegedly assaulted him.

The police registered a case under The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POSCO) Act, 2012 and reportedly sent the victim for medical examination.

Seven police teams have been formed to trace the accused, who are at large, said B Sai Sri, Deputy Commissioner of Police of Rachakonda. The police have detained suspects and are interrogating them.
