Kolkata-bound IndiGo flight returns to Jaipur due to technical fault

An IndiGo flight operating from Jaipur to Kolkata returned to Jaipur on Monday due to a technical fault, the airline said.

The flight, 6E784, was on its way to Kolkata when the technical fault was detected. The pilot followed standard operating procedures and landed back in Jaipur, an IndiGo spokesperson said.

The aircraft was sent for detailed assessment and repairs at Jaipur airport. An alternate flight was arranged for the passengers.

IndiGo apologised to the passengers on board the Jaipur-Kolkata flight for the inconvenience caused, the spokesperson said.
