Kumkum Bhagya Star Pooja Banerjee Announces 2nd Pregnancy With Heartwarming Maternity Photoshoot

Good news for Pooja Banerjee and her fans! The Kumkum Bhagya actress is expecting her second child with husband, swimmer Sandeep Sejwal.

She shared the happy news with a beautiful maternity photoshoot. Pooja, who became a mom for the first time in 2022 with daughter Sana, posted heartwarming pictures where she’s seen cradling her baby bump with pure joy.

The actress revealed that she and her husband always dreamed of having two children and are thrilled to see it come true. Speaking to ETimes, she shared that, just like her first pregnancy, she is staying calm and not worrying about unnecessary things. “One thing that is different this time is that Sandeep is able to spend more time with me. He has been a great support,” she added.

Pooja shared that she wants to spend quality time with her kids and fully enjoy this special phase. Talking about her first child, the Kumkum Bhagya actress mentioned that her daughter is a sweet and understanding little one who already knows she’ll soon have a sibling. She even looks after her mom at times, asking if she needs water or food.

“I am in a great space currently and spending this time meditating, swimming and doing things I like. During my first pregnancy, I was working till I was due, but this time, I decided to take it easy,” added the actress.

Pooja, who last appeared as Pihu Kapoor in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 in 2023, shared that she received several project offers but decided to step back after finding out about her second pregnancy.
