MS Dhoni enjoys golf action with Kapil Dev: World Cup heroes reunite on a course

India’s World Cup-winning heroes, MS Dhoni and Kapil Dev, reunited once again, this time on a golf course.

Dhoni and Kapil were spotted enjoying golf at Kapil Dev – Grant Thornton, an invitational tournament organised in Guruguram.

While Kapil Dev’s love for golf and his competitive nature on the course is well-documented, Dhoni, it seems, has a flair for the sport as well. Known for his big-hitting ability of the cricket ball, Dhoni showcased his golf skills at the invitational tournament.

In a video that is being widely shared on social media, Dhoni can be seen hitting them with a perfect swing of the club. Dhoni was leaving fans and fellow competitors in awe with his ability to strike them cleanly on the golf course.

Dhoni posed for a ‘legendary’ photo with Kapil Dev from the golf course and the 1983 World Cup-winning captain shared it with his fans and followers on social media.

MS Dhoni seems to have enjoyed the appearance in the tournament in Gurugram. This is not the first time Dhoni has tried his hand at golf. In 2019, Dhoni was spotted enjoying golfing sessions with his former Chennai Super Kings and India teammate Kedar Jadhav.

Only recently, Dhoni and Kapil Dev were spotted together at the Flushing Meadows for US Open 2022. The World Cup-winning legendary cricketers enjoyed a fine dose of tennis action as they were in the stands to cheer for Carlos Alcaraz and Frances Tiafoe during a men’s singles semi-final.

Dhoni will return to competitive action in 2023 as he will lead the Chennai Super Kings in the upcoming edition of the IPL. Dhoni retired from international cricket in August 2020 but he has continued to represent CSK in the IPL.
