Multiple earthquakes over magnitude 4.0 hit Afghanistan in 24 hours

An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter Scale hit Afghanistan in the early hours of Friday.

According to the National Center for Seismology, the tremors were felt at 5.11 am.

On Thursday, two earthquakes, measuring 4.2 and 5.2 on the Richter Scale were felt in Afghanistan.

The first tremor was felt at 5.44 am, while the second occurred at 4.25 pm, the agency reported.

There were no reports of any damage to property or loss of lives due to the earthquakes.
