The film has enjoyed a surprise run so far. Also starring ‘Safed’ fame Abhay Verma in an important role, ‘Munjya’ has brought a certain freshness on the big screen. It’s a horror comedy on the lines of Stree and Bhediya – Maddock’s attempt at making its own supernatural cinematic universe. The film is based on Konkan folklore which explores the myth of ‘munjya’ – an adolescent boy’s spirit wanting to fulfil incomplete desires. What are your expectations for its lifetime collection?
