Republican presidential primary candidate Nikki Haley mocked former President Donald Trump on microblogging site X. Haley posted a photoshopped package saying, “Weakest General Election Candidate Ever” by posting a fake Halloween costume ad.

The satirical post also said, “$50M in legal fees,” “terrible poll numbers,” “social media rants,” and “temper tantrums”, mocking former President Trump. The post goes on to say that the package “does not include” “private jet” and “Diet Coke.”

“Democrats are ecstatic about the prospect of running against Donald Trump. They couldn’t dream up a worse general election candidate if they tried. Between his legal drama, his terrible poll numbers, and his confusion, Trump will hand Democrats a big victory,” posted Nikki Haley on X.

If convicted of a crime, Republican candidate Donald Trump would not secure the votes of a majority of swing state voters, with 53% reluctant voters, according to a Bloomberg-Morning Consult survey.

However, Nikki Haley is trailing by 26 points amongst possible Republican primary voters in her home state of South Carolina, where she previously served as governor, according to a Monmouth University-Washington Post survey.

The poll also showed 58% of voters supporting Trump compared to 32% for Nikki Haley.

TRUMP COUNTERATTACK ON HALEY
In response to Nikki Haley’s attacks, Trump issued a warning on Truth Social, saying that the Nikki Haley contributors would be “permanently barred from the MAGA camp.” He stressed prioritising America first and rejecting contributions to Haley, whom he called a “Birdbrain.”

“Nikki Haley is very bad for the Republican Party and, indeed, our country. Her false statements, derogatory comments, and humiliating public loss are demeaning to True American Patriots. Her anger should be aimed at her third-rate political consultants and, more importantly, crooked Joe Biden and those that are destroying our country – NOT THE PEOPLE WHO WILL SAVE IT,” Donald Trump posted on Truth Social.

“We don’t want them, and will not accept them, because we Put America First, and ALWAYS WILL!,” Trump wrote on X.
