Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, who calls himself an advocate for Sikh rights, has refused to take up the issue of the alleged mistreatment of Sikhs by the Donald Trump administration.

“I have nothing to do with the civil rights of Sikhs. I’m not working on civil rights at all,” Pannun said, disowning Sikhs human rights issues in America. Top Intelligence sources have said that Pannun’s silence on the issue of America sending illegal migrants in chains to India is puzzling. Sources said that as someone who claims to be a strong advocate for human rights, it’s “surprising” that Pannun hasn’t spoken out against the “inhuman treatment of migrants”.

“Given his strong stance on Sikh human rights, we expect Pannun to be equally vocal about the mistreatment of migrants. His silence on this issue raises questions about his commitment to human rights,” sources said.

Pannun refused to answer CNN-News18’s direct question on why he didn’t take up the issue of the restrained deportation of Sikhs from America. “I’m not a human rights activist who will take up this issue,” Pannun said. Pannun, while ditching questions on the issue, put the blame on the Government of India.

Pannun has been working for Sikhs For Justice, a proscribed organisation under UAPA, and has been actively involved in promoting Khalistani extremism. According to sources, he has been getting regular funding from different agencies for attacks in India.

Pannun has in the past clearly said that he is working for Khalistan and balkanisation of India. He faces numerous FIRs in India, related to various offenses, including sedition, terrorism, and promoting separatism. “We have serious questions about his advocacy and it is confirmed this is selective,” sources said questioning as to where was he getting money from.

The FIRs against Pannun are being investigated by various agencies, including state police forces and national agencies like the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The charges against Pannun are serious including murder, terror attacks and waging war against the country.
