Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal Celebrate their Eternal Love in Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla Ensembles
Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal celebrated their eternal love in custom Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla at their reception in Lucknow.
Looking graceful and elegant in traditional attires, the couple were styled by celebrity stylists Anisha Gandhi and Rochelle D’Sa. Captioning the series of images on Instagram, which read as: Ek Daur hum bhi hain. Ek silsila tum bhi ho. (sic), Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha’s pictures were out of a fairytale.
Twinning in off-white, the duo celebrated togetherness with their respective family and friends in Lucknow. Posing against the serene ambience, Richa and Ali’s chemistry came to life in the authentic traditional ensembles.
Richa wore an exquisite off-white chikankari kurti with a heavily embroidered yoke and borders. She teamed it with an intricate all-over embroidered trailing gharara, ornamented with beads in pink and aquamarine. She completed the royal look with a net dupatta exquisitely accented with Swarovski crystals in an all-over pattern along with a train, to complete an utterly breath-taking bridal look.
Ali Fazal looked regal in a muted gold beige slit long tussar silk sherwani with impeccably detailed resham hand embroidery. A dash of gold at the hem gave the look a distinctly dramatic edge. The inner kurta and churidar were crafted in airy, light weight cotton silk and exclusive thread detailing.
While Richa opted for three different designers for three functions which included Rahul Mishra for her sangeet, Kresha Bajaj for the Delhi reception and Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla for the Lucknow reception, Ali chose to stick with Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla for all the three functions. Keeping the base minimal, Ali did experiment with the silhouette and colours.
For the sangeet function, he adorned a flowy angrakha with thread work detailing and for the reception in Delhi, he enhanced the sublime look with a sherwani with multi-coloured threadwork featuring floral designs.
As individuals the star couple have their own style mantra, but together as a couple they complement each other’s personality. The soft, sublime and understated designs adorned during their wedding festivities, thus proves that less is more. The couple will also be hosting a reception in Mumbai for their friends in Bollywood.
