Rihanna sets stage on fire at Anant Ambani’s pre-wedding bash in Jamnagar

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding jamboree was a starry affair with pop icon and R&B superstar Rihanna’s dance moves undoubtedly amounting to the peak highlight of the get-together in Jamnagar.

The crowd at the private event was visibly frenzied as Rihanna took to the stage and performed her popular tracks. The Ambanis are known for celebrating with extravagance, never having hosted a party by halves and Anant Ambani’s pre-wedding bash is no exception.

Rihanna, who rose to fame after her debut single in 2005, performed on a medley of her songs and hit numbers, including ‘Pour it Up’, ‘Wild Things’, ‘Diamonds’, etc. In visuals accessed by India Today, the artist was seen setting ablaze the atmosphere with her dance moves, which were second to none, along with her entourage.

Wearing a fluorescent green bodycon and glittery gown, Rihanna was seen interacting with distinguished guests at Mukesh Ambani’s son’s pre-wedding event while performing on the stage. She also performed on her popular track ‘Work’.

The singer, who arrived in Gujarat’s Jamnagar on February 29 along with her troupe, is reportedly getting paid a whopping amount of over Rs 50 crore for her performance.

Another major highlight of the pre-wedding is said to be renowned illusionist David Blaine’s act. Celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan and his family, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir, Arjun Kapoor, ‘Jawan’ director Atlee and his family, among others have arrived at Jamnagar for one of the most glamorous weddings of the year.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant got engaged in a Gol Dhana ceremony in Mumbai on January 19, 2023. They are hosting pre-wedding festivities at the Reliance Greens Complex in Jamnagar. Close to 1,000 personalities are attending the three-day festivities of the Ambanis and the Merchants.

Also, Rihanna is not the first international musician to perform at an Ambani wedding. In 2018, Beyoncé performed at Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s sangeet and was rumoured to be paid close to Rs 33 crore.
