T20 World Cup 2022: Rohit Sharma escapes injury after hit on hand ahead of semi-final vs England

India captain Rohit Sharma escaped an injury during the practice session in Adelaide on Tuesday ahead of the semi-final clash in the T20 World Cup 2022 against England.

India is all set to take on Jos Buttler and Co on Thursday with the first semi-final between New Zealand and Pakistan taking place a day before.

The team management, however, was left sweating when skipper Sharma got hit on his right hand during the net session and had to leave immediately to get treatment. It was said that the Indian opener was visibly unhappy with the situation.

Sharma was seen applying an ice pack to his injured hand and it seemed to have done the trick as the India captain returned to the nets and started batting once again.
