US stocks continue to bleed; S&P 500, Nasdaq, Dow all down over 3%

Wall Street saw a sharp decline at the opening bell on Monday, with major indexes tumbling as investor concerns grew over.

The potential economic impact of President Donald Trump’s broad tariff measures. Many traders turned to government bonds as a safer option amid the growing uncertainty.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average had dropped 1,212.98 points, or 3.17%, to 37,101.88. The S&P 500 was down 181.37 points, or 3.57%, at 4,892.71, while the Nasdaq Composite slid 623.23 points, or 4.00%, to 14,964.56 at the opening bell.
